What is it?  Your help is needed. Our Love Your Neighbor outreach ministry is winning the trust of many of the homeless in Visalia but as the ministry has grown so has the need for more workers.  One of the immediate needs is more people to accompany Thor & Larry as they deliver food for the body and soul.  Another need is meal preparation and supplies.  Currently, Thor and Colleen are meeting each Tuesday morning @ 10AM to package 25-35 lunches she has prepared.  Thor then delivers them.  Every Friday @ 4PM, Larry and Thor deliver hot dogs and the Word of God to people.

Help along side. This would be a great opportunity to ride along and see what we are trying to do in our community.  Any help you can give is appreciated.  If you work or live out of town there are still things for you to help with.  Check the bulletin board in the vestibule or see Larry or Thor.

Cleaning? Yard Sales? Please consider donating those clothes you no longer wear. Even though our days are warming, the nights can still be cold when you are sleeping on the ground.  Coats and blankets as well as summer clothes are needed.

If you have fruit trees, please don’t let the fruit go to waste.  Love Your Neighbor would love to have the opportunity to distribute your excess.  Ask your friends and neighbors if they have clothing or fruit they would like to donate.  Check with Larry or Thor if you need someone to come pick the fruit.
